Do you have a #PottyMouth on Twitter? A new study shows that we like to cuss on social media -- especially by dropping the F-bomb, and particularly on Mondays.
Researchers at Wright State University in Ohio found that nearly one in every 13 tweets contains foul language, and that more than a third of that is in the form of everyone's favorite four-letter curse word that starts with "F."
They also concluded that people are more likely to cuss on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday than any other day, which makes sense because Mondays suck. Amirite?
The other time Twitter folks are more likely to let loose with the language is between midnight and 1:30 A.M., which doesn't surprise me even a little because that's when people are more likely to be drinking. Let's face it -- alcohol brings out the inner sailor in a lot of us.
