Facebook is turning 10 today, and to celebrate, they've given us a present. The new "Look Back" video feature is a one-minute compilation of your most popular status updates and photos in video form, set to a tune that manages to be both cheerful and a little sad at the same time.
In other words, it's a pretty nostalgic experience to watch.
To watch yours, just make sure that you're logged into your Facebook account, and then go to www.facebook.com/lookback. The video will start by reminding you when you joined the social network, while displaying one of your first profile pics. Mine was me holding my now almost-6-year-old in a Moby wrap. Ugh, she was so small!
Warning -- you might need a tissue for this.
It goes on to display other things you've posted over the years, and if you're anything like me, some of them may be things you've all but forgotten about.
It's sweet and sappy and emotional and definitely worth 60 seconds of your time. You can share your video to your wall if you're so inclined by clicking the little "Share your film" button in the upper right corner.
Have you played your Look Back video yet?
