facebook posting Megan Merkel has a lot to learn about a lot of things. Soon after she and her boyfriend Mark Scerbo allegedly mowed down 40-year-old school teacher and mother of two Heather Boyum while they drunkenly played games with his motorcycle and her car, she took to social media, lashing out at the "haters" on Facebook who, understandably, were furious about the hit and run.

Merkel showed little real remorse. Now two kids don't have a mother and Merkel is feeling badly only for herself. She told haters they could "suck a dick and choke on it."

Classy. In fact, Merkel needs to be held accountable for that Facebook posting. In its entirety, it reads:

Suck a dick and choke on it. Get the real facts straight instead of the news that twist everything. I was sure as hell not being a reckless driver and what happened I couldn't help. So stay off my page with ur negativity. U think I don't feel bad? F*ck you cuz u dont know.

There are so many things wrong here, it's hard to know where to start. Obviously the biggest issue is that a woman is dead and she is dead because of Merkel's alleged carelessness. But it's also so sick and twisted that her biggest concern is "haters."

If I hit someone with my car, even if it were through no fault of my own, the last thing I would be concerned about was whether people judged me. And if they did, I wouldn't be angry. I would be way too busy feeling awful and guilty and sad.

If Merkel does face a court at some point for this, I would think the Facebook posting should be part of the case against her. It shows a stunning lack of remorse and bad judgement. Social media can be a godsend in some cases. But this isn't one of them. In this case, social media is showing us the truth about someone's mental state and their level of remorse.

Regardless of the acts of the facts of what happened, a woman is dead and Merkel had something to do with that. Telling those with questions to "suck dick" is sick, indeed.

The courts are going to have to catch up quickly with social media. People can't use Twitter and Facebook this way and expect no consequences to come. My heart breaks for the family of Boyum and I hope they never hear how careless Merkel was after hitting their mother and wife.

Do you think this Facebook posting should be used in a case against her?
