You guys, Kim Kardashian wants you to know that she wants to be a more private person. She doesn't need everyone all up in her shiz 24:7. Despite her recent whirlwind romance with Kanye West, she wants to lay low for a while, recharge her battz, you know? And she's telling us this by way of a major magazine.
Kim recently told Cosmopolitan: "We love doing our reality show and it's opened doors for us ... but as I get older and go through certain things, it's made me want to be more of a private person.”
Inneresting. And ironic. But despite the obvious, funny juxtaposition -- Kim talking to the media about staying away from the media -- that's not the star's problem. You know what is? Twitter! If she really wants to keep a low-pro, she'll lay off the thing for a while ... which she so hasn't been doing as of late. Hello, sexy Instagram bikini pic!

There aren't many things that celebrities can do to control their publicity. Kim can't just snap her fingers and boom the press will stop following her. And that's gotta suck. But she can chill out with the tweeting for a spell. It's the one thing that she personally controls. Yeah, it may bum her fans out a bit, as they won't be able to know when she's going for a hike or what she had for dinner, but they're not going anywhere. They'll still be there when she comes back.
Tweeting non-stop, especially sexy photos of herself, is a definite way to keep media attention on her. So she should stop. For just a little. It obviously won't take her out of the spotlight completely, but hey, it certainly can't hurt.
Do you think Kim's constant tweeting affects her popularity?
