I've already been using Google for finding recipes, but the process just got a lot easier with the new Recipe View tab. Now when you're looking for some culinary inspiration online, Google lets you not only narrow your search to just recipes, but you can filter by ingredient, cooking time, and even calories.
Search results show recipes with ratings, ingredients, and pictures displayed right on the results page—you can see at a glance if you've found what you're looking for. ("Best chocolate chip cookies ever," 10 stars, never mind the calories because WORTH IT, etc.)
You can even just type in the random crap you have sitting in your fridge ("butter spinach cream cheese") and see what the Recipe View suggests you make for dinner. Mushroom and Spinach Ravioli With Chive Butter Sauce, anyone?
Here's the official video from Google introducing the new feature:
Leave it to Google to make meal planning a breeze. Now if only they'd figure out how to take care of my grocery shopping, too. *drums fingers impatiently*
Have you tried out the new Recipe View yet?
