The recent story about the man who slapped a toddler on a plane has moms buzzing this week about what's appropriate and what's not when it comes to flying with kids.

We took up the issue in this week's Moms Matter Google Hangout. Check out the video after the jump, as four writers from The Stir sound off and reveal the 'worst' things they've done while flying with kids!

If you ever wanted to know what it's like to have a c-section, here is your chance! A 39-year-old mom has given Women's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, permission to live tweet her cesarean with photos and video! No guts, no glory.

It was amazing to see. A beautiful birth with emotion and love even though some think that's impossible with a c-section. This will educate and most definitely scare the living daylights out of some people. Blood. Guts. Organs being moved around. A screaming infant. Prepare yourselves because you're about to learn what really goes down (and out) with a cesarean birth.

Last night, President Obama gave his annual State of the Union address, and today, bloggers from The Stir have a lot to say about it, from conservative Republicans to liberal Democrats.

We've all seen examples of oversharing online, but it's especially disturbing when the culprit is a mom and she's dishing major TMI about her divorce, her ex, or her ex's new flame.

As it turns out, you and your friends might not be the only ones reading those status updates. Divorce attorneys report that Facebook, Twitter, and blogs are one of the first places they turn to find incriminating information about their client's exes.

I love tattoos, as you will see when you watch this video of me getting tattooed for my 40th birthday for CafeMom Studios' Tattoo Moms series. I've gotten tattooed just for the heck of it, have designs on me that I just thought were pretty, and others hold very special meaning. Last year for my birthday, I got my kids' initials in a heart, and this year I added to that arm and got some solid hearts there, too.

I also got a flower tattoo on my shoulder, which symbolizes something very dear to me, and serves as a reminder about life.

One of the toughest jobs out there is one you'd least expect:

ROLLER SKATING WAITRESS.

Yes, they still exist and one of the places where you can find them is Friscos, a '50s-style diner in California.

Kathy Bouska from Mama's Losin' It joined me as I "Took That Dare" and tried to be a roller skating waitress for a day.

I think it's safe to say it was an EPIC FAIL. But we had a GREAT time giving it a try!
