Just as the Ariel Castro kidnapping case has quieted down, another Ohio home has been identified as a house of horrors. The Ashland, Ohio house is the place where a disabled mom known only as S.E. and her young child were held captive for more than two years in what's being called a case of "modern day slavery."

    Again? So soon? So close?

What's worse than having your house broken into while you're in it? How about having your house broken into, pulling off the burglar's mask, and realizing it's your own grandson. Yes, this actually happened to Pamela Dearinger, a poor grandmother in Albuquerque, New Mexico. One minute, she was sitting on her couch, watching TV, the next she's allegedly being attacked by a man wearing a bandana. And the really sad part is, after she pulled off the robber's mask and realized it was her grandchild, he reportedly still knocked her down and stole her purse.

If there was ever any doubt that sheer fabric and polka dots spelled out fashion disaster, here's your proof. Actress Brittany Snow attended the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto last night and looked rather ridiculous on the red carpet. The 27-year-old Pitch Perfect actress missed the note with this crazy ensemble.

Missing 9-month-old Levon Wameling has been gone for more than two weeks now. But cops in upstate New York are having a particularly tough time finding the missing baby. After all, it took two weeks before they even knew he was gone! So much for getting that necessary head start and "the first 48 hours are crucial," huh?

The Utica Police say Jevon Wameling was the last person to see his son way back on May 29, but he didn't come forward for two weeks ... when the baby's grandparents started asking questions. It was the grandparents who went to the prosecutor's office for help and kicked off the whole search for the missing child.

Famed recluse and Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has finally decided to come out of hiding. Instead of making her traditional rounds on Anderson Cooper 360 and Meet the Press, the Backdoor Teen Mom star decided to invite In Touch magazine into the operating room with her while she underwent breast augmentation surgery for the second time, taking her C cups to Ds.

There, Farrah lies in the photoshoot, knocked unconscious with a tube down her throat, while doctors perform surgery on her. And in another shot, Farrah, dressed in a bikini so small the naked eye doesn't possess the ability to see it, stands pre-surgery with her body marked up in black ink, holding the saline implants she's about to receive.

Farrah, who couldn't pick her daughter up for a month after surgery, says that she wanted to maintain her "natural" look. "I would not get boob implants that were porn-star status," she said. "I’m very realistic about keeping myself looking natural."

I drew him some boxersSo here's the weirdest thing you'll see probably all week. About a month ago in San Francisco's BART subway system, there was a crazy naked man doing gymnastics and attacking people. (The video just surfaced this week.) Obviously attacking people is scary. Attacking people while naked is even worse. But ... someone took video of the guy in action and you just. Can't. Take. Your eyes. Off of him. I mean, one minute he's doing handstands and backflips. The next minute he's running at someone with his arms outstretched. What does he want, a hug?

It would be hilarious -- if you couldn't hear one of Crazy Naked Man's victims sobbing with terror in the background. Ooh, I would hate to be her! But how surreal. He's unarmed, and there's nothing so vulnerable as nudity. But he's being so aggressive and bizarre, I think I'd have been terrified if I'd actually been there.

Not Julia CaplesYou could be a vampire if you wanted to be. It's true. This is an actual lifestyle you can choose, and you don't even have to be born in Transylvania with pointy incisors or be immortal or anything like that. Just ask real-life vampire Julia Caples. The mom of two says she drinks nearly two liters of blood a month -- you know, kind of like how you do all that juicing? It's totally the same, only not vegan at all.

I just want to clear something up about Ms. Caples up front here before we go on: She does not, I repeat, does NOT go into people's bedrooms at night and suck their blood, turning them into new vampires. She is a highly ethical vampire, thank you very much, and only drinks the blood of friends. WILLING friends.

There's an old saying that's been bouncing around my head since I heard about the Alabama kidnapping case that's entangled promising young basketball star Devonta Pollard in its web. Being a mom, the saying goes, is like having your heart walking around outside of your body. When 6-year-old Jashayla Hopson was kidnapped earlier this spring, cops say the real target wasn't the kindergartner at all. The real target was Hopson's mom! You see where that saying fits, don't you?

Relationships can have all kinds of issues and one of them is men who are over-controlling. I can't say I've ever experienced that -- if anything, I'd love a guy who takes a little more control! Ha! But not if he overdid it. And a lot of them do, unfortunately. Men who try to control you are usually insecure. They often come from dysfunctional families where they had no control over anything, so they try to make up for it by controlling their current life with you. It gives them a false sense of power -- something they feel they had none of as a child. They're often fearful you're going to leave (like maybe mommy or daddy did), so they think that by controlling every little thing, they'll make it impossible for you to do so. It doesn't even occur to them that they're actually driving you away. Here are eight ways you know your man's controlling behavior is out of control.
