Twisted doesn't even begin to describe this child abuse case. Washington State mom Jennifer Mothershead was arrested for allegedly pouring bleach into her toddler's eyes on several occasions. Now it seems, the doctors who examined the tot -- and failed to raise red flags -- may also face punishment.

Seattle doctors treated the then 14-month-old girl for two months for severe eye infections but only reported her as a possible abuse victim when she showed up at trauma center with a head injury, according to a complaint filed by the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.

Football season is still a few months away, but people are already using Tim Tebow to make a few extra bucks at his expense. (Surprise, surprise.) For the life of me, I just don't understand why the fact that Tim is a decent human being with a strong belief system is such a bad thing, but I guess some people just feel threatened by a man who is committed to his faith. (Can you tell I'm a Tebow fan?)

A company called Cubby Tees has been selling these green & white New York Jets shirts with the same script as the team logo and the words "My Jesus" printed on them -- and Tebow isn't exactly thrilled at how they're poking fun at him. In fact, he's so irate, he's actually threatening to file a lawsuit against them for illegally using his name to market & sell the shirts.

Get ready to get angry. Incredible Hulk kind of angry. A cargo worker at JFK Airport in New York is facing charges this week for allegedly stealing from care packages that he was supposed to be getting onto planes, care packages that were packed up for members of our military serving overseas.

Cops say the suspect in the thefts, Terrance Ralph, was caught because he had the audacity to actually wear some of the pilfered items to work. No surprise, really. If he really is the kind of guy who would steal from a care package, he can't be terribly bright, can he? At least I hope this alleged crime was simple stupidity, because the other alternative is even more depressing.

On the day the world celebrated its mothers, one mom stabbed the father of her two kids to death. Why? Because the Mother's Day gifts he bought her were too cheap. 

It's almost unimaginable, but this is the sickening reality two young Beaumont, Texas boys face after a deadly Mother's Day brawl. Paige Parkerson was charged with first degree murder after killing her boyfriend Clifton Barkin.

It was a horrific turn in what Barkin likely thought would be a sweet Mother's Day celebration. After picking up flowers and a card at Walmart that evening, he went home to Parkerson, who reportedly went ballistic over the low-budget gifts. According to Barkin's mother Evetta Wright, Parkerson expected something more expensive, like jewelry.

So many women dream of their wedding day, and it sounds like 26-year-old Estrella Carrera had been waiting awhile. Carrerra, a beautiful Illinois resident, had finally married the father of her 2-year-old son. The day she got married, she invited a bunch of relatives to a party. She then left her son and her 9-year-old daughter with her father and celebrated. The next day, she failed to pick up her two children, so relatives called police.

That's when they made the shocking discovery that Carrera had been stabbed to death in her bathtub. And she was still in her wedding dress.

William "Clyde" Gibson is a possible serial killer in Indiana who is charged with killing three women -- Christine Whitis, Karen Hodella, and Stephanie Kirk. But to those who knew him, he was just a church going, good guy.

The remains of 35-year-old Kirk were found in Gibson's backyard, just weeks after the young mom went missing. Though he hasn't been convicted, many who knew him are obviously shaken up by the idea that someone so potentially lethal walked among them unseen for so long.

But isn't this always the way it is?

The jail-bound convict confessed to molesting a 5-year-old New Jersey girl she was babysitting—and streaming it live on Skype. That poor child was victimized two times over because that, unfortunately, is not all. Mahoney also admitted to abusing the same little girl on another occasion, recording the incident on her iPhone and emailing it to at least one fellow deviant, who was caught with it in Texas.

The rational part of me knows there are women who are just as disgustingly twisted as some men are. They just don’t get caught or called out as often. But the emotional part of me is just so disappointed and appalled because women, in general, are nurturers and caregivers, even in the most basic sense of wanting to make sure the people around us are safe and content. 

Yikes, it sounds like Reese Witherspoon's parents have some, um, issues. Big time. Reese's mother, Mary, has filed to get her husband's marriage annulled. Yes, you read that right. She's filed to get her husband's marriage annulled -- because it was to another woman. And he's still married to, um, Reese's mother. Got this? Let's back up.

Reese Witherspoon's parents have apparently not lived together in 16 years, but they never filed for divorce. They also continue to attend functions together as a family, including Reese's marriage to Jim Toth. But now it starts to get downright bizarre.
