You'd think that with The Walking Dead being on hiatus until season 4 starts in October, I wouldn't be writing about the series very often -- but you'd be wrong. Totally wrong. Like, dead wrong. Zombies are basically my dream Jeopardy topic (aside from "overpriced hair care products" and "decades-old Simpsons quotes"), so a little thing like the show being off the air isn't going to slow me down, by golly.

With that said, let's get straight to the incredibly serious business of identifying the most memorable Walking Dead walkers to date. There are an awful lot to choose from (472 onscreen zombie deaths as of last December's amazing infographic by The National Post), but I've narrowed down the list to my 5 personal favorites. Take a look and see if you agree!

Which Walking Dead zombie did you think was the creepiest?

Remember that scene in Juno when she goes to the abortion clinic, and the reception offers her boysenberry-flavored condoms, and says they make her boyfriend’s junk taste like pie? That always made me giggle.

Although I’ve never used them, I can understand the appeal of flavored condoms. Hey, safety first, and if you’re going to do that, some flavor other than K-Y might make the experience more, shall we say, appetizing.

As it turns out, you can get condoms in almost every flavor imaginable -- including bacon. That’s right, the company J&D’s Foods recently launched bacon condoms. With that inspiration, I set out to find the wackiest flavored condoms on the market.

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, my son and I were running around town and I could tell he was becoming more annoyed by the minute. I decided to liven things up with a sing-along. Since it was raining, I started with, what else: "It's raining, it's pouring. The old man is snoring. He went to bed with a lump on his head and didn't --" But I abruptly stopped in the middle of that verse. Wait. What? I never really thought about it before, but this dude "didn't get up in the morning." Does that mean he died?

I quickly changed the lyric to something lame like, "He didn't want to go to work in the morning." To which my son piped, "That's not right." But I didn't want to sing about death and dying to a 4-year-old. It's just too weird. But when I really started to think about it, so many of our favorite childhood songs are totally terrifying. Take a look at the 11 creepiest nursery rhymes we sing to our kids.

What other nursery rhymes should be on this list?

The Walking Dead marathon has consumed the free spaces in my weekend, and I didn’t think I’d see anything much scarier. Some of those walkers are pretty gruesome, what with the greyish flesh and gooey, blood-gorged mouths and scary brown teeth and all. But the latest sighting of Lil’ Kim is downright terrifying. This woman has gone through some dramatic plastic surgery metamorphoses, but it took a double take and a hard squint to recognize her after her most recent reconstruction.

Actress Lisa Bonet recently shaved one side of her head, showing off her roots of gray on one side and long dreads on the other. Bonet has always been bold with her beauty and fashion choices and I love her for that. So you have gray hair? I say flaunt it -- it doesn't mean you've given up. No one can say Nicole Kidman has given up.

When men go gray, they are called distinguished, sexy even (proof of gray-haired male hotties here), and it shouldn't be any different for women. Check out other beautiful celebrity women who went gray and never lost a strand of fabulousness.

Well look who's hitching a ride on the Fifty Shades pornwagon, trying to change her reputation: KALE. You know, the dark leafy green vegetable? Oh yeah, she's hot like Anastasia, and she's got a new e-cookbook: 50 Shades of Kale.

This is me biting my lip! Dr. Drew Ramsey (The Happiness Diet) and Jennifer Iserloh (Secrets of a Skinny Chef) have brought kale into the bedroom -- or something like that. Those crayzee kids! What will they think of next? My inner green goddess salad is palpitating at the possibilities. So how HAWT is this cookbook?

What's that body wash you're using?I'm a lifelong beauty product junkie with no plans on ever quitting. So, obviously, when my daughter was born a few months ago, I was thrilled to purchase all sorts of skin-soothing, yummy-smelling "toiletries" for her. So thrilled that I bought way too many products. But it's cool, because they're being put to good use -- not just on her, on me, as well. Forget Sephora, Babies R Us is where it's at for my beauty needs these days.

Here are 6 baby "beauty" products that work amazing on moms.

Fifty Shades of Grey is more popular than ever -- and MamasLatinas writer Alicia Civita has a few good ideas on how the best selling book could gain even more recognition ...

We have Gossip Girl clothes, Hunger Games eyeshadow, and True Blood drinks. Why not Fifty Shades of Grey sheets, sex toys, and paint? Yes, paint. Why not? Fifty Shades author E.L. James and her agent Val Hoskins have selected a global licensing agent for merchandise based on the best-selling trilogy.

The UK-based Caroline Mickler was chosen to represent the Fifty Shades of Grey line of products. The products will include lingerie/sleepwear to fragrances, beauty products, bedding, home furnishings, stationery, jewelry and, yes, adult products -- all aimed at women.

We are already imagining some of the items. Take a look at what we'd love to see in the lineup:

Who gets to be Diana Ross?If you’ve ever let Al Green serenade you out of a bad mood, sang into a hair brush to imitate the Supremes, or sweated out a perfectly coiffed hairdo dancing to Usher, you know the power of black music. (Incidentally, I’ve done all of the above. Carry on.)  In fact, June is Black Music Month, a 31-day dedication to the instrumental, lyrical, rhythmical, and artistic genius black folks have deposited into almost every genre from gospel, rock, hip-hop, and reggae to calypso, R&B, pop, and jazz on over to zydeco, country, and go-go.  Artists have always fed off the creative influences of their predecessors—before the uber talented Alicia Keys debuted, for example, there was the amazing Nina Simone and the incomparable Aretha Franklin. Here are some others who have their foremothers and fathers in music to thank for artistic inspiration:
