This is probably going to be the most bizarre sports news you'll see all day. Yunel Escobar, who plays shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays, apparently wrote, "tu ere maricon" [sic], which translates to "you are a f**got" on his eye black during a recent. Yeah. So that happened. See that photo? (Sorry, it's a little blurry.) A collective WTF?? is definitely in order.

It makes absolutely no sense. Some have suggested that this was a prank by the clubhouse -- if that's the case, talk about a prank gone terribly wrong. However, that seemed to be a short-term rumor, since news has come out that Escobar has been suspended for three games without pay. Thank goodness! I actually wish the suspension were a bit longer.

Candace Parker, WNBAIf you've ever wondered if professional athletes' bodies are really as rock hard and perfect as they appear in their uniforms, then the new ESPN Body Issue showing several sports figures in the buff should clear things up a bit.

The issue hits newsstands on Friday and showcases 27 of the most in shape bodies in the sports world, from Olympic contenders to league professionals (although it's kind of a bummer that David Beckham didn't make an appearance).

Even if you've never even watched a sports game on TV in your life, chances are you still know who Erin Andrews is. If for some reason you don't, ask your husband or boyfriend. The first thing he'll tell you about her is that she's gorgeous. The second thing he'll say is that, oh, yeah, she's a sideline reporter for college football games on ESPN. The third thing he'll say is something about her being totally hot and sexy. I know that's kind of a repeat of the first observation, but that's the way guys roll.

Never mind that Andrews is actually a really good reporter and knows her football, which is why Andrews is moving from her expired gig at ESPN to Fox Sports after being heavily courted by that network giant.

After hearing some of the testimony in the Jerry Sandusky trial, ex-ESPN anchor Dana Jacobson finally felt brave and empowered enough to admit that she too was sexually abused as a child by someone she trusted.

When she was a little girl, Dana Jacobson was molested by a teenage boy in her neighborhood who had been hired by her parents as a babysitter for her and her brother. She was ashamed, scared, and kept quiet about her encounters with him because she was terrified that people would think she was making it up.

In tragic news out of the sports world this week, it was confirmed that Junior Seau, star linebacker on the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots, did in fact commit suicide. With a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, he left behind three children, whom he texted the day before, "I love you."

From the aftermath of the sad ending of this football legend's life comes news that his family will allow researchers to study his brain to check for any damage due to the concussions he may have sustained over his 20-year professional football career. What makes this whole situation even more heartbreaking is that, because this has happened to other players before him, Seau may have intentionally shot himself in the chest to preserve his brain for exactly this kind of study.

If there is anything his children can take away from their father's too-soon passing, it's that in his final, heartbreaking moments, he may have wished for other players to avoid his fate.

Sarah Phillips? There is quite a bit of buzz surrounding ESPN today, because apparently they were duped by someone named Sarah Phillips, who they hired to write a column for their site on sports betting. While ESPN thought she was a college student in her 20s who just happened to have a very firm knowledge of gambling and placing bets, some are now claiming she is nothing but a savvy Internet fraud.

While the question Who exactly is Sarah Phillips? seems highly debatable and confusing at best, it's still kind of crazy that someone as big as ESPN is at the middle of the whole scandal.

Oh, Tim Tebow, welcome to New York! Tim attended the Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels game at Yankees Stadium Sunday night, and when he was featured up on the big screen, there were a few cheers, but most predominant of all were the boos.

And the poor guy was even wearing a New York Yankees hat!

I mean, maybe it was because Tebow was sitting next to Dwyane Wade, a star player for the Miami Heat, who beat up on the New York Knicks earlier that day. But once Wade held up his Yankees hat (he was shown on the big screen before Tebow), the audience started cheering after initially booing him. So, yes, the booing was for Tebow and Tebow alone.

Oh boy. Clearly Tebow has a lot of winning over to do in the city of New York. Considering there are lots of politics involved in the seemingly insane world of New York sports, there may be a few explanations why Tebow hasn't been very welcomed in the Big Apple.

Skip BaylessAfter hearing this crazy sports story, I'm really glad I don't work on live TV! One moment things could be going smoothly, the next your most embarrassing moment is up on the Internet to be played over and over and over again. Skip Bayless knows what I'm talking about. He's a sports journalist who regularly appears on ESPN's "First Take" ... and he got schooled on live TV in the worst way possible.

During a debate about the NBA MVP race, Bayless got called out by Jalen Rose, a retired basketball player, for lying about his high school basketball career. And it was very much deserved. And so awkward yet absolutely hilarious to watch.

Well, it's official: Lamar Odom and the Dallas Mavericks have parted ways. The team and Odom got to spend Easter Sunday working on an arrangement that would let Odom leave the team immediately without actually being released.

The Mavericks are just going to list him as inactive for the rest of the season instead of outright releasing him. This means they could still trade him after the season is over.

Whew. Talk about a rocky road in Dallas for the Odom-Kardashian crew. Think this could mean yet another move to who-knows-where for these two? Since Lamar and Khloe's marriage had such problems when they first moved to Dallas, you gotta wonder what's going to happen now.

Jeremy LinJeremy Lin, the Asian American, Harvard graduate, upcoming star point guard for the New York Knicks, faced his first loss on Friday to the lowly New Orleans Hornets after enjoying a seven-game winning streak. We've had to deal with the insanity of "Linsanity" while he was winning, but what was most interesting to see was how the media dealt with him when he lost. Needless to say, racism reared its ugly head in some of the coverage.

One of the biggest culprits was one of the biggest names in sports media: ESPN. Since Lin is defying all sorts of stereotypes, these kinds of comments about him are, unfortunately, expected -- but when it does happen, it's still very shocking and sad, especially when it comes from such well-respected sports media. Two ESPN employees were punished for their comments that had racial undertones, and it was the least ESPN could do. Here's what happened:
