Looking for a last-minute couples Halloween costume? Going to a party where you know the people attending will have a sense of humor and don't mind a little bit of crass classlessness? Want to really scare 'em, too? Have we got the solution for you! Remember back in the spring when Bobby Petrino, the ex-head football coach at the University of Arkansas, had a fling with a hot 25-year-old named Jessica Dorrell -- then got fired for it?

And remember how everyone got wind of this whole affair because the idiot got into a motorcycle accident with Jessica and the Internet proceeded to go nuts? This whole story has a point, I promise. Well, check out this costume idea that an extremely creative couple thought of to get folks at said Halloween party talking (and screaming):

So there most definitely are perks to working on the Internet -- mostly that you don't have to worry about screwing up on live TV, and that things can be changed or deleted rather easily and immediately. That's probably what NFL Network's Ian Rapoport was thinking when he was giving his pre-game report for Sunday night's Packers vs. Texans showdown.

For whatever reason -- whether it was deliberate or not remains to be seen (though you have to admit the aim was pretty spot on) -- a football comes flying from off-screen and nails poor Rapoport right in the face. And the way he reacted to what happened certainly wasn't the way most of us would have. Poor guy. Ah, the joys of live TV. And being able to see it on the Internet the next day. Ain't life grand?

Jay Glazer, Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy JohnsonSo full disclosure: This may be the most horrifying thing you're going to see all day. Maybe perhaps in life. It's really that tragic. Who would have thought a 23-second video could kill an entire international phenomenon? Yep, that's right, the NFL on FOX crew decided to do their own version of Psy's "Gangnam Style." Why they decided to do this ... it's one of those great life mysteries. We've discussed many times how this song and all the subsequent parodies just seem to never die -- but, you guys, this may officially be the end.

The NFL on FOX hosts, Jay Glazer, Jimmy Johnson, and Terry Bradshaw, do the most awful dance to this song that the world has ever seen. It's just awkward, weird, and borderline creepy. Poor, poor Psy, he probably had no idea his song could have resulted in this. Have I built this one up enough for you? You know you want to check it out.

Triforce FTW!If you've ever wondered why Ohio State University's marching band is called "TBDBITL," or The Best Damn Band in the Land, wonder no more. This is the most awesome marching band performance I've ever seen this week, this month, perhaps in my entire life?

For anyone who's loved video games, from The Legend of Zelda (my personal fave) to Tetris to Halo (yes, Halo!), you'll soon see why this performance is so mind-blowing. The complex choreography and awesome soundtrak lead to animating some of these beloved characters in a way you've probably never seen before.

The band graced us with this routine during the halftime performance when OSU took on Nebraska on October 6, 2012. Thank god for the Internet, or else you would have missed out on this incredible show. Nine minutes later and your life will truly be changed for the better.

Have you heard the good news? Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will be taking on Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts Denver Broncos this Sunday! Everyone just loves this matchup. Well, mostly everyone who's into the NFL, I guess? Two rather studly, super skilled, crazy athletic, tall strapping white dudes at the quarterback position taking each other on ... what more can you ask for? Seriously?

Tom and Peyton may be worried more about play calling and throwing with accuracy and how well their receivers are feeling, but clearly we're more worried about how good they look on the field. (I think I'm being sarcastic?) Because that's part of the fun of football: the good-looking guys, right? At least to us straight women who are trying to find their way through this millpond of testosterone.

Ever since Apolo Anton Ohno became an international speed-skating phenomenon in the 2002 Winter Olympics, I've had somewhat of a ridiculous and giddy schoolgirl crush on him. I mean, really, why not? And now that he's one of the all-stars on this season of Dancing With the Stars, he's been my immediate favorite from the start. Obviously it's too early to make predictions about the winner of the show. But I don't care. Not one bit. I'm Team Apolo all the way.

Case in point: His quick step with Karina Smirnoff on last night's episode. They pulled it off even though the rehearsals proved rather dubious. Host Tom Bergeron, after the couple got their scores (a 24.5 out of 30, psshh), told everyone watching that Apolo had accidentally head-butted Karina when rehearsing this dance. I most definitely wouldn't have minded that, but I'm sure Karina did -- yet they were still able to kick major ass. Wouldn't have expected anything less from him!

Dwight Howard, a basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers, seems to be well on his way to fixing any damage to his image after getting traded from the Orlando Magic. What better way to get some new fans than flashing your megawatt smile on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and dancing to Psy's "Gangnam Style" when making your big entrance?

Howard became the second LeBron James of the NBA (well, not really) after he acted up when trying to leave the Orlando Magic -- from trade demands to conflicts with his coach -- which finally culminated in back surgery, ending his season, and the trade he's always wanted.

But maybe he's happier now in LA than he's ever been. It certainly looks like it. He gave Ellen a ridiculously charming interview, and everything from his outfit to his self-professed crush to his dancing skills is worth a watch.

There are so many things I love about this video. College football. Big marching band. Psy's "Gangnam Style." Yes, it seems like there have been hundreds of variations of this song, and people have been playing it incessantly. You could even argue that it's getting a little old. (What?? You wouldn't dare!) But you have to see this version, it's totally worth it ... well, at least tune in to around the 1:27 mark, where the band gets down with some really impressive choreography.

Ohio University's band, the Marching 110, performed this history-making YouTube hit on Saturday during halftime at a game against Norfolk State. And this isn't their first hit ... hopefully you've seen their version of "Party Rock Anthem"? I'm so cool I'll even put that video in for you as well. Since googling it would simply take far too much time and effort. Check 'em out!

It's okay, Brett, you get to make this speech a dozen more timesWe have a vision of male athletes being these strong, tough, buff, ridiculously manly badasses. Their job is to win and they're supposed to take no prisoners. They don't have time to deal with that tiny little other aspect of life called emotion. Please.

(You knew there was a "but" coming.) But, there are times when athletes break this stereotype and help us to remember that they're just human beings too. They're prone to sadness, anger, frustration, and yes, even tears. There's something about seeing an athlete who's usually so stoic and tough break down and show his vulnerability. At times it can be really sweet!

So we rounded up some of the best videos that feature athletes crying like babies. Hey, I mean, why not. Enjoy! And give the big tough man in your life a hug while you're at it.

American gymnast Gabby Douglas must be one ecstatic 16-year-old. The Olympic gold medalist has recently filmed a cameo on her favorite show, Vampire Diaries, making her debut on the fourth season.

The story behind Douglas admitting she loves the show and how the cast responded during the Olympics to support her is a sweet one. But before we get into that, there's no word yet on the role Gabby will play, just that she isn't playing herself -- kind of hoping they won't kill her off or anything -- or when her episode will air. You know, all the stuff that we'd actually like to know.

Still, if there's anything we can get out of this life-altering news, it's this awesome photo. Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore), who's hot enough to be a top contender for the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie (I mean, just look at him), taking a bite out of Gabby's bling. She'll probably never wash/polish/do really anything with that medal ever again after that amazing moment.
