Eyes rolled when Tiger Woods, not exactly known for his monogamous ways, began a serious relationship with champion skier Lindsey Vonn, but the two are still going strong. Perhaps the secret to their relationship, which has yet to implode on a tsunami of a cheating scandal, is that the two aren't married -- and apparently have zero intention of changing that. At least according to Lindsey, who told Vogue about getting married again:
No thanks! I am definitely not getting married. To anyone.
Ouch. I hope Tiger wasn't planning to surprise her with a ring.
Considering how Tiger's marriage to Elin Nordegren went, and how much it cost him, he probably isn't keen to walk down the aisle again either.
Lindsey was once married to her coach, Thomas Vonn. And they are no longer on speaking terms. She blames mixing business with pleasure for their marriage's demise. But definitely the whole thing has made her marriage shy. She says:
Honestly, I wouldn't take anything back. I wouldn't change being married. It was good for me and I was happy for a period of time, and I learned a lot about myself.
Yeah, like that she doesn't want to get married again! Hey, I say, good for Lindsey. No one needs to get married. And considering how much money both she and Tiger are worth, a divorce would be a nightmare.
Lindsey also says that she and Tiger "immediately clicked" when they met in 2012. And oddly (for Tiger anyway), it sounds like they didn't jump in the sack right away. She says:
We talked a lot, corresponded a lot, and he was a good friend who was always there. And then it became more.
It'll be interesting to see if Lindsey indeed never gets married again. Didn't Halle Berry also say that? Didn't stop her from hitching her wagon to Olivier Martinez recently.
If you're divorced, did it make you wary about marriage?
