Former NFL Pro Lawrence Taylor Should Serve Time for Having Sex With a Minor

Twisted 8

Lawrence TaylorCristina Fierro, the teen who accused former New York Giants linebacker, Lawrence Taylor, of sexually assaulting her when she was 16 years old, wept as she graphically described their sexual encounter during trial.

Taylor has pleaded guilty and is serving six years of probation for misdemeanor charges of sexual misconduct and patronizing an underage prostitute for the encounter, but Fierro brought the civil case to hold him accountable. After all, six years of probation for having sex with a minor, prostitute or not, sounds like a slap on the wrist to me.

Cristina Fierro, now 19, told a Manhattan jury that she didn't know who Taylor was when she found him naked in a hotel room. She alleges that another man forced her to have sex with Taylor for $300. Kind of sounds like a prostitute and pimp situation to me.

By her account, the entire scenario sounds extraordinarily seedy. She says she turned her back to Taylor and he began to massage her back like some horny teenager. She says she went to the bathroom and called 911, but they never came. Fierro then claims Taylor got on top of her, and she squirmed and tried to push him away but couldn't because he was so much larger than she was. Then, Fierro says she told him it was her "first time," and he replied, "Just relax." When it was all over, he pulled money out and asked her to leave. The whole incident turns my stomach.

The way I see it is that if a grown man has sex with a 16-year-old girl, isn't that statutory rape? If she says no, isn't that rape? I’d say that if a girl is squirming and trying to push you off of her, that means no.

It seems that Taylor thought she was an escort and maybe she was, but either way, she was underage. He still had sex with her probably because he thought, as a famous athlete, that he was entitled to do so. Not to mention, he was married at the time. Either way, it's wrong.

Taylor’s attorney says that the case seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages is a “money grab.” Personally, I think it sounds like this asshole raped a minor and then the court system failed her by only giving him a slap on the wrist. I think the civil case isn't about the money at all. It’s about punishing him the only way she has left, in his pocketbook. Was the Brown family’s civil case against OJ Simpson a money grab? No, it was a family trying to hold a man who thought he was above the law accountable in some way, any way.

I think Taylor should serve jail time for what he’s done. He had sex with a minor. I don’t care if she was a prostitute. That is irrelevant. He was an adult who took advantage of a kid. Why shouldn't he be held to the same laws as everyone else? I say lock his ass up and make an example out of him.

Do you think Taylor should be held accountable?

Sooo... did you sleep thru the breaking news when this happened. Miss the part about him ordering up a prostitute and she showed up as a willing participant claiming to be over 18?

Shirley, you should probably do some reading on the issue before you post such comments. (Kay you too). Based on what actually happened you sound totally ignorant. FIRST off, she was kidnapped by a known low-life, lifetime criminal/pimp. Taylor had someone contact the savage to order himself a prostitute. The girl was missing for several days. The savage criminal held her captive and forced her to go to Taylor's motel. She was finally able to quickly send a text message to her uncle to tell him where she was and to get help. He called the police. Taylor, the scumbag alcoholic drug addict, was arrested along with the lowlife pimp. The beautiful thing about the interent is that you can actually read up on situations like these, yet you both choose to bash the victim without knowing a damn thing about her. You aren't any better than Taylor or the pimp, who will likely be in jail for a very long time. But go ahead and sit behind your keyboards feeling like your better than this girl. I'm sure Taylor and the pimp feel the same way you do. Nice company.

How can you blame the victim, she is a victim you know whether the LT situation was consensual not she was an exploited child and just because she was  a "call girl" does not disqualify her from being raped, that's tantamount to saying a husband cannot rape his wife. Any person celebrity or not contributing to such exploitation should be jailed.

I don't discount the rape charge at all. Girl says no, it's a no. I do however have a problem with the statuatory part. He was told she was 19. She never said otherwise. Why not? LT wasn't her first client that day, as proven by the rape kit, so why is she only suing him? Why is he the only one she feels should be held accountable? No, he shouldn't have been meeting another woman at a motel. That's between him and his wife. If she said no, then he shouldn't have forced her, regardless of whether or not she was paid for. I'm so glad this girl was able to be rescued from that life. But, we don't know how long she was forced to live that life, so we don't know how many clients she was forced to have sex with. Probably more than just the two from that day, so why only sue LT? That's what makes this seem like a money grab.

No, he shouldn't be held accountable for her age if he didn't know, but if she resisted he should be charged with rape.

She told him this was her "first time and he tells her to relax" WTF! Tht right there should've been enough for LT to say u need to leave my motel room. & why didn't the police show up when she called 911?!? IF A GIRL SAYS NO IT MEANS NO. Tht is rape! So yes he should hve to pull time bcuz if it was ne1 else they wulda been sent to prison on rape charges. Like he's gonna admit she was under age, come on now he was jus thinkn with the head between his legs. I feel sry for his wife bcuz he's a cheatin bastard!!!!
