Who knew Australian diver Matthew Mitcham was an equally awesome singer. The Olympic contender showcased his musical skills in a surprising YouTube cover of Beyonce's "Single Ladies." Yep. That's right.
The Olympics seem like non-stop action for us viewers, but apparently there is a lot of down time for the athletes. Mitcham had more than a week until his next event, so he whipped out his ukulele to entertain himself. But I promise it is you who will be entertained.
He belts out Bey's sexy, put-a-ring-on-it anthem with a folksy flare. Not sold yet? I promise, it is way more cool than weird. If he gives up the whole swimming thing after the games, he should consider taking a stab at Australian Idol. Listen here:
