Things finally seem to be falling into place for Khloe Kardashian now that her husband Lamar Odom has officially been traded by the Dallas Mavericks to the L.A. Clippers. After bouncing around from city to city, Lamar & Khloe can finally settle down and plant roots back in Los Angeles where they belong. (Dallas was definitely no place for these two.)
And it certainly sounds like getting readjusted to life in California is a top priority for Lamar Odom, because he has decided not to try out for a spot on the U.S. Olympic basketball team.
Making the Olympic team has been on Lamar's list of career dreams for quite a few months, so it's surprising that he would decide to throw in the towel and give up his chance to play in London this summer. But if anything, his decision proves that he definitely has his priorities in line, and isn't willing to let anything compromise his big career comeback with the Clippers.
And aside from diving head first back into his basketball game, Lamar is smart to remain in Los Angeles with Khloe instead of getting off to London for the Olympics. Giving up his spot on the team definitely proves his devotion to her. She's supported him during all of the ups and downs with his career over the past year, and she's sacrificed living near her family and friends for quite some time. Staying in L.A. will allow her to finally relax and spend some quality time with her family, and hopefully it will also be the perfect time for her & Lamar to welcome a mini-Kardashian of their own.
Do you think Lamar was wise to pass up the Olympics?

Marriage is about compromise and yes sometimes you have to sacrifice things in order to make the marriage work. When comes to marriage you are devoting your life to one another and things will not always coincide the way you want them to, but if you love each other then compromise is always key. I think it was smart for him to not take the position only because they've been trying for a baby for so long. But I think there was so much stress with the Dallas move that it affected their chances to conceive. Not that they are settled where they call home..the stress has been lifted on both their parts in a major way they can concentrate now on making their baby...my opinion..
yes we would all love to see the US in the olympic's but family come's first I'm pulling for Khloe and Lamaer she has compromised a lot it's his turn to show some more love good luck you 2
No. This is a once in the lifetime moment representing your country. It's an honor to be on the team. One summer is not going to kill the marriage and I would think she would like to take in the olympics as well. Also playing full court with a team-through practices and games, is the best way to get in basketball shape.
How did he do it for her? He was being traded, either way
Ok now why is it that they are going to welcome a mini-Kardashian? Shouldn't it be a mini-Odom? Last I checked his last name is not Kardashian!
