Summer has finally arrived, and you know what that means, right? Yep -- it's time to hit the beach, have a little fun in the sun, and admire all of the rock-hard buff dudes playing in the surf. (Yes, I realize most beaches don't quite measure up in that department. Or at least none of the ones I visit do.)

But when it comes to shirtless hunks, there are plenty of them in the sports world, as most athletes in tip top shape aren't afraid to expose a little skin. Professional athletes work hard for their muscles, and they should want to show off the results of their efforts. And I guess it's only natural for us to want to stare at them, right? (There's nothing wrong with a little eye candy.)

And when it comes to eye candy, no one (and I do mean no one) is more drool-inducing than David Beckham. He's really somethin' else, isn't he? (YUM.)
