hockey player armpit tattooWhen it comes to sports, there are fans, and then there are fanatics. And then there are people who go and get a hockey player's face tattooed on their armpit -- and grow him a playoff beard for good luck. (I know -- just when you thought you'd heard it all.)

And one woman loves retired Los Angeles Kings player Luc Robitaille so much -- that's exactly what she did. She got an armpit tattoo of his face -- and let her armpit hair grow out in order to give him a proper beard. (For real!)

It's kind of hard to make out who exactly is pictured in the tattoo, and at first glance, it doesn't look exactly like Luc Robitaille.

But after comparing the photo of him below with the face on the armpit, I guess I can sort of see a resemblance? (Except for the beard hair color. That looks a bit off to me.)

To be fair, I guess it's pretty hard to create anyone's likeness smack dab in the middle of an armpit. It's not exactly one of the smoothest surfaces on the body.

And as for the beard, all I can say is that it's pretty creative? I guess if you need a valid reason to forgo the razor for a while -- supporting your favorite player during the Stanley Cup is as good an excuse as any.
