Miami Heat's ‘Call Me Maybe' Danceoff Is Awesome -- Even Though It Never Happened (VIDEO)
I can't even begin to imagine what it'd be like to hang out in a locker room with a national sports team after a big playoff win. The Miami Heat got to celebrate their Game 7 win over the Boston Celtics during the weekend, and they let loose and celebrated, even with the looming thoughts of taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday in the finals. Still, doesn't mean they can't enjoy the moment, right?
One fan saw some footage of the Miami Heat players dancing around in the locker room to celebrate. Like all of us, he wondered what song was playing. He had the perfect answer: Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," duh. He put the video to the song -- and it's awesome. Of course this is what all these big, burly, multimillionaire athletes were dancing to, riiiight ...?
Check it out for yourself:
Yeah, I get it, there is a 99.9 percent chance that the song they're dancing to was not "Call Me Maybe." But it's fun to imagine it, and if you ever wanted to see it instead of picture it in your mind ... well, here you go! Your life is now complete. And you have to admit, they were right on with the beat, so ... you never know?
I actually have no idea what the original song they were dancing to was, but YouTube users have been putting up a number of different songs that go along with the clip. Some are really quite funny. I think this version of them dancing to The Legend of Zelda theme is my favorite:
Are you enjoying the thought of big, tough professional basketball players dancing to "Call Me Maybe" as much as I am?
