Wow. Lance Armstrong should be pretty pleased with his performance in the in the Memorial Hermann 70.3 Ironman triathlon that was held in Galveston, Texas this past weekend. He finished in 7th place, proving yet again that he's one hell of an athlete. That dude has some serious stamina and endurance, all right.
Plenty of people were cheering Lance on at the finish line, including his daughter, who had a huge smile on her face while waiting to greet her dad and hand him a medal for completing the race. Aww, how sweet!
And this would've been such a cute father-daughter moment -- that is if Lance hadn't totally ignored the poor kid.
Take a look at the video clip below and watch how Lance completely blew off his proud little girl.
OMG! Can you believe that he not only walked right by her as she tried to hand him that medal, but he also continued to completely ignore her as she walked after him yelling, "Dad! Dad!"
More from The Stir: If Lance Armstrong Failed a Drug Test, Anger Can't Save Him
One of two things is going on here. Lance is either the biggest jerk of a dad on the planet, or he is completely aloof and has no peripheral vision. How in the heck did he miss seeing her standing there? He had to have spotted her out of the corner of his eye as he was approaching the finish line, right?
Yeah, yeah, I know. Odds are good that this was totally unintentional and Lance wasn't ignoring his daughter on purpose. He was probably just exhausted and honestly did not notice her standing there. But something tells me it's going to take a while for him to live this one down with his little girl. I'd milk this one for all it's worth if I were her.
Have you ever accidentally done something that made you look like a bad parent?

He dumped Sheryl Crow after she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer because he "couldn't handle it."
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uhh my dad used to be the same after running or working out very hard. My dad is a retired Marine and he'll tell you...when he gets in the zone, he's in the zone. He has to do a cool down and doesn't want to talk to anyone until he feels more in control. My dad isn't a jerk. You have no idea how he acts at home or anything else. You only know what the media reports and this video. Stop judging people.
