Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow may be a polarizing figure to some, but he showed everyone what a kind heart he has by making the wish of a 10-year-old girl come true. She can now tell everyone that she went on her first date ever with Tim Tebow!
What makes this first date particularly special is that Presli Collins, from Colorado, suffers from neurofibromatosis, which is an inherited tumor disorder and can lead to hearing loss, cardiovascular complications, even cancer. She's undergone numerous complicated surgeries, but relished in the fact she could get away from the pain for a night out on the town with one of the hottest players in the NFL.
Tebow's foundation, Wish 15, called to arrange the trip for Presli to accompany Tim to the Cartoon Network's Hall of Game Awards, after Tebow & Co. got wind of the struggles of one of his biggest -- and cutest! -- fans. And it was a night Presli won't soon forget.
They went on what sounds like a pretty amazing first date (I think mine involved some cheap ice cream, a movie so we didn't have to speak to each other, and an awkward car ride home with my dad). She got to fly out to Los Angeles and choose a new dress and hairstyle. The twosome then posed for pictures on the red carpet, canoodled with other celebrities, and even got to check out the chocolate fountain. He also gave her lots of swag, including an autographed football, before he left.
And Tebow’s adorable parting words? “Thank you for being an amazing date,” Presli recalled with a wide smile. She said she felt like a princess the whole night, and her mom commented that Tebow was so gracious and kind and made Presli feel like the star.
Presli, who's had to endure brain and back surgery to get rid of her tumors, as well as anterior and posterior spinal fusion surgery to correct her scoliosis, couldn't be a more deserving little girl for having an absolutely perfect, most memorable first date. You can say all you want about Tim Tebow, but reaching out to his fans like this makes him seem like a pretty decent guy.
No one is more deserving of good things than children suffering from debilitating illnesses. Kudos to Tebow for reaching out to a young fan in need of a pick-me-up like Presli, and kudos to Presli for going on one of the best first dates ever!

Billsfan, the person who turned this article was you. He is a polarizing figure. Some people love him, some don't like him. Hence the word polarizing. I am really tired of you stating that the stir hates Christians. This is not the case. I am a Christian and do not feel this hatred. It was a very nice article until i read your anger.
And I would like to say, I am not a huge fan of Tebow but I think that his is lovely that he did this and I know he does a ton of charity work which I think is wonderful.
