Gisele Bundchen and Tom BradyYou know how the Patriots were soooo close to winning the Super Bowl last night? Well, it's sounding like things could have gone in their favor -- if only the Patriots had a supermodel for a coach. Specifically, Gisele Bundchen, a.k.a. Mrs. Tom Brady.
Apparently Bundchen was on her way to the locker room after the game when somebody screamed, "Eli owns your husband!" (Ouch.) Bundchen ignored the heckler, but was heard cursing about several crucial passes dropped by the Pats as she got into the elevator ... the most damaging, of course, being Wes Welker's four-minutes-to-go mistake.
Hmmm. Between the pre-game prayers and the post-game analysis, Bundchen clearly has something to offer the Patriots ...
Not to mention the motivational magic it would work on a team of sweaty dudes to have a hot Brazilian supermodel order them around. (All the better if she had a whip.)

Who knows, maybe she even read Wes Welker the riot act. Not like the poor guy doesn't feel terrible already. As he said after the game:
"It's a play I never drop. Most critical situation and I let the team down. It comes to the biggest moment of my life and I don't come up with it. It's discouraging."
Aww, buddy. Don't be so hard on yourself! Everybody makes mistakes. You're only human. There's always next year ...
Hmmm. I guess I would make a really bad football coach. Warm, fuzzy feelings don't necessarily lead to victory. But see, that's exactly why Bundchen would make an awesome football coach. Ain't nothing warm and/or fuzzy about that girl!
Plus, how perfect would this be: Super Bowl Halftime Show = Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Something to think about, Gisele ... you'll need to quit the modeling biz at some point. Meanwhile, in case you missed it ... Wes Welker's drop:
Do you think Gisele Bundchen would have led the Patriots to a Super Bowl win?
