People get plenty creative these days when telling friends and relatives they're pregnant. From scavenger hunts to special cakes, it seems everyone wants to reveal the news in their own special way.

WetPaint recently posted a video of a couple surprising her parents with pregnancy news that's straight up amazing. Their method isn't flashy or incredibly unique -- they just give her mom a gift, then tell her that another one will be coming in November. But when her parents realize what that means, they erupt into pure, spontaneous joy. The mom's reaction in particular is so enthusiastic, it will make your day.

You're pregnant! Congrats! You've told your family and friends the big news, now guess who's next -- your boss! Telling your boss and coworkers that you're expecting is actually an incredibly fun moment (unless your boss hates babies, in which case, you should quit). After all, the people you work with are the ones you see every day -- they're going to get to watch you grow each week, and they're pretty much going to be there with you every step of the way: Nausea; cravings; the whole nine.

So. How to break the news? There's a little finesse involved since, you know, you're going to be taking time off for maternity leave and doctor's appointments; but at the same time, telling your boss can be really fun (if you have a good relationship; if you don't, it can get a little tricky).

Here are 5 ways to share your pregnancy news with your boss.

When it comes to moms who have bounced back from pregnancy with amazing results, we bow down to Beyonce. If you saw the Super Bowl or get a glimpse of any picture of her on any day, you know that she looks better than ever since Blue Ivy's birth in January 2012. Her slim down is especially impressive in light of her recent reveal that she gained 57 pounds during pregnancy.

That's right, Bey recently told Shape magazine that she packed on nearly 60 pounds while pregnant. That's a lot of pounds. So getting back her rocking body was no small feat, but she managed to so fabulously. So how'd she do it?

A 30-year-old lacrosse coach who was pregnant with her second child died in a bus crash as her college team was on its way to a game. It's a tragedy that makes every mom feel like weeping.

Kristina Quigley, a coach of Seton Hill University's lacrosse team, was the only passenger of 23 to die when the bus slid off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and slammed into a tree early Saturday morning. The 61-year-old driver was also killed.

The college girls' team was on its way to play a game at Millersville University. Quigley, who was six months pregnant and has a young son, was flown to the hospital but died later of her injuries. And honestly, just writing this story makes my eyes fill with tears and my heart break for this woman with so much ahead of her, for her family, and for her unborn baby -- who never had the chance to live.

It's funny how when it comes to other people's lives, everyone else is the expert. For example: Michelle Duggar. Everyone has an opinion on what she should and shouldn't do with their own "expert" reasons of why and why not. Some even cannot handle the fact she has 19 children. But we should remember it's not like there are 19 kids in diapers crawling around her house. Her older kids are adults. Her son Josh and his wife Anna are expecting baby number three.

Michelle, who is now 46, would love to have another baby, which would make her a mom of 20. I don't think she has too many kids nor is she too old to have another.

The age when women start making babies is creeping up, up, and up. Depending on where you live, it may be the norm to wait until you're in your 30s -- that's the way it is in New York City, for sure. Even growing up in Colorado, though, I just thought that's what you do. You start your career, climb the ladder, make sure your marriage is stable, and then start having babies.

But some women are starting to question that wisdom and make a case for having babies in your 20s. In XXfactor, Jessica Grose points out a few reasons why career-ambitious women should get pregnant sooner, not later. And I have to admit -- I'm convinced.

Somewhere in the last nine years, taking a babymoon has become THE thing to do. I believe the tradition has come into vogue in that time span because back when I was pregnant with my first child then I'd never heard of one. Perhaps I was just out of the what-you-must-do-while-pregnant loop, but these days everyone who's anyone is taking one, and so is everyone else.

Kim Kardashian went to Paris; Kate Middleton went to the island of Mustique; and thousands of women you've never heard of are traipsing off to resorts and tropical beaches for one last fling of freedom before having a baby. They sound lovely, but also a bit ridiculous. They're kind of like what goody bags are to birthday parties. For years no one had ever heard of them, then all of a sudden no party is complete without your own plastic bag of junk. Now it seems no pregnancy checklist can be considered final until the babymoon box gets its mark.

This takes the notion of the modern family to a whole new level. A website will partner women and men who both want children, but not a romantic relationship with one another. Not much shocks me in this day and age, but this took me by surprise. That's not to say I think you should be married before having kids. That's a ridiculously outdated perception of what it takes to raise a child. In fact, there is no one definition of the perfect family anymore. However, doesn't this loveless, match-making service make parenthood -- which any parent will tell you is incredibly hard -- even more complicated.

Forget about the debate over passport forms replacing ‘Mother’ and ‘Father’ with ‘Parent One’ and ‘Parent Two’ -- make way for Parent Three! A Florida judge has ruled that a 22-month-old baby girl shall have three people listed as her parents on her birth certificate -- a married lesbian couple and the gay man that provides one half of her DNA.

Maria Italiano, 43, and Cher Filippazzo, 38, had not successfully conceived a much-desired child, even after several attempts at fertility clinics. Italiano’s hairdresser Massimiliano Gerina offered to provide his sperm for artificial insemination after the women approached him on the subject.

I don't usually feel sorry for Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey; rather, I usually feel sorry for the person whom she's stabbed in the back. But this time, I have to say I'm feeling some twinges of sympathy for her.

It seems her husband, Juicy Joe Giudice, wants a son, and wants one bad. According to a recent In Touch story, even though they have four -- count 'em, four -- beautiful (albeit spoiled) daughters, he's bound and determined to have a son, even if it means hiring a surrogate to have the boy for them. A source told the magazine that Teresa "refuses to get pregnant again," so this may be the only way he's going to get one.

An "insider" told the magazine, "He is really pressuring her. If that’s what he wants, she may just give in.” What a clod.
