Some women shouldn't have sex while they're pregnant—and they shouldn't orgasm either. But this is only if you're at risk for preterm labor or other pregnancy conditions. Otherwise sex—and the Big O—is A-okay. In fact, you might find you enjoy sex even more while you're pregnant. Here's why.
According to Danielle Cavallucci, co-author of Your Orgasmic Pregnancy: Little Sex Secrets Every Hot Mama Should Know, some women experience their very first (it's true) or even multiple orgasms during pregnancy.
Cavallucci tells Fit Pregnancy that orgasm can be more intense because your genital and pelvic regions (including your uterus) are engorged with blood, and the vaginal area becomes more sensitive. Any kind of stimulation can often be enough to push you over the edge.
This is more likely to be the case in the first and second trimesters though. In the third trimester, your uterus can't fully contract during an orgasm so although you can be excited, you won't be able to climax.
And don't worry about the baby—having sex or an orgasm won't do any harm. It might even feel like a massage, says Cavallucci.
Are you having sex while pregnant? Have your orgasms been more frequent or intense?

haha I def. noticed that sex got wayyyy better when i was pregnant with my son
I don't know who proved you can't have an orgasm in your third trimester but they are wrong. The night before I went into labor, I had the best orgasm I have ever had. It was amazing and I came so much that I soaked the bed and the sheet. Not to mention my husband. (I know TMI)
