Old Navy and Target are awesome for affordable maternity clothes (I like the Liz Lange Long-sleeve Crewneck in black, $9.99, for a reliable fall basic) -- but sometimes it's nice to splurge on something special (or to get it as a gift.) If you love it, you'll get a ton of wear out of it.
I was addicted to Michael Stars tees before I got pregnant, so when I was pregnant and discovered the company had a maternity line, I was psyched. (That cute mat tee to the left is their Supina Long Sleeve Band Crew, $56).
First, these tees are one size fits all, so there's no guessing about what's going to fit you now or, as your belly grows, in three months. Love that.
Second, they just fit incredibly well and are stylish, too -- a nice way to show off the bump. I continued to wear mine, too, after I gave birth, often layered with other tees.
What's your favorite piece of maternity clothing? Have something that you find you're always recommending to other mommies-to-be?
