Cloth diapers have all kinds of benefits—they're good for your pocketbook and the environment. But one of the downsides is sometimes enough to turn people toward disposables: You have to wash them, and that can be pretty icky, especially once your baby starts eating solids. But if you are considering cloth diapers, today's take it or leave it item might be just the thing you're looking for.
Item: Bum Genius Diaper Sprayer
Cost: $45
What it does: This chrome diaper sprayer attaches to your toilet's water supply so you can spray clean messy diapers directly into the toilet.
Pros: You won't have to get your hands dirty (literally) by dunking or soaking soiled diapers. Cleans even the messiest diapers so you can just throw them into the wash. It's easy to install. Later, you can use it to clean out your kid's potty when you're potty training.
Cons: If you put the spray on too high, it could spray poop around and get messy.

Awesome I want one:)
Leave it. We CD and I don't think I would have any need for one.
I can see poop sprayed all over the bathroom. Not to mention the fun toddlers who sneak in the bathroom would have taking showers in the middle of the room.
I cloth diapered and no, wouldn't use one. Certainly not as a registry item - the poop doesn't need one until after your baby's on solid food anyway.
What I couldn't live without are the Imse Vimse rice paper liners for after their diets start expanding. Talk about simple and non-messy! LOVE them!
Love it!!
As a cloth diapering mom, this really helps to avoid soaking. The soaking process is really a drag, gross.
I say take it. I hate swishing and with a spayer I don't have to. I just adjusted the sprayer so it's not too forceful. Though I agree with Avarah, using the liners is nice. I just don't like buying them!
I cloth diaper and bought this one....it lasted a few weeks, and started leaking out the handle, then spraying out the handle to the point of being unusable.
Want it!
