Now that I'm in my third trimester, I'm finding that some of my maternity pants -- the ones that sit under the bump, and the ones with the adjustable waists, in particular -- just aren't comfortable anymore.
OK, to be honest...they're way too tight to button. I only have a couple pairs, but they're key: a pair of khakis and some cute cropped cargos, both of which I can dress up for the office and also wear running around with my toddler. So I'm pretty lost without them.
Here's my solution: the BellaBand. I wore it early in my pregnancy when I wanted to stay in my non-maternity jeans, and it gave me about an extra two months in them. Brilliant. And then I put it away and pretty much forgot about it. I whipped it back out last week and wore it with my maternity khakis, unbuttoned at the waist. Equally brilliant!
They're making a really great organic BellaBand now too, which is super-breathable and soft.
Are you a fan of the Bella Band? Or is there some other trick I'm missing?

Looooooved my Bella Band. Now I'm sending it on to a friend who hopefully will love it too!
my LO is 2 months old and i still use it sometimes. it's great for hiding my belly when i'm BFing in public. plus it hides my belly that i still need to get rid of :-p
okay but what if you have pants that don't button. All my maternity pants have the stretchy waist but are getting to be uncomfortable. I only have 6 weeks to go until my c-section so it is not long but still comfort would be nice.
Ahhh, totally having this problem also! None of my favorite maternity pants fit so great (ouch when I sit down) and most are the panel style. My solution is to give them to my girlfriend who is several months behind me :) So for work it's Liz Lange leggings and dresses or skirts. But I really miss my pants - I would have invested in more non-panel pants and the bella band if I'd known I'd grow out of them!
I am 18 weeks and still using the bella band on my regular pants!
