Massive Stationary Sale: Perfect for Baby Showers

Michele Zipp

baby shower invitationsGuest blog from Lucky magazine editor and CafeMom Meredith Rollins. She has a two-year-old son and is pregnant with her second, due in September.

I am a huge sucker for nice stationary, even though I never manage to write as many letters as I intend to. There's something so lovely about heavy card stock, and pretty inks, and substantial all feels really thoughtful and ladylike in a way that an email or an e-card can't entirely replicate.

The very fanciest, old-school company is Dempsey & Carroll, and despite their fanciness they have an incredible sale every year, with really great stuff at almost 75 percent off.

A ton of it is very baby-oriented -- perfect for thank-you notes or handwritten invites -- and there are even some beautiful baby shower invitations.

Given that the average greeting card runs around $3, getting a box of 10 gorgeous engraved notecards for $10 is a massive deal. The stuff goes fast, though, so click through now.

Here are some of my favorites:

Baby-carriage cards (they come in pink or blue seen above).

These choo-choo notecards, perfect for a boy.
