Mining the Anthropologie Sale While Pregnant

Michele Zipp

maternity clothes anthropologieGuest blog from Lucky magazine editor and CafeMom Meredith Rollins. She has a two-year-old son and is pregnant with her second, due in September.

Anthropologie is one of my favorite resources for all kinds of cute, bright stuff (Michele and Sheri love it too). They've got great clothes, obviously, but also do fun projects with cool designers (like this Corey Lynn Calter housewares collaboration that I'm hotly anticipating for fall).

In honor of their sale, I thought I'd round up some pieces that would work well for pregnant ladies. Here are my picks:

This super-soft, super-light Head-to-Toe Chemise ($39.95) perfect for lounging around the house. (I'm picturing myself in it, on the sofa, eating ice cream out of the container.)

The exceedingly cute and versatile cream-colored Reading Room Cardigan ($39.95): great layered over a tank, to cover up my muffin top.

This Fragrant Grove Camisole ($39.95) -- it kind of looks like classic maternity wear, but has way more pretty detailing than you'd usually find. Perfect for this 90 degree weather we're suffering through in NYC.

Amazingly cool Rachel Comey Crochet Clogs ($169.95): we wrote about this line in Lucky but I never got around to snapping up a pair...and now that they're more than half off, I'm really tempted.

And finally, for an extra-girly touch, these Loving Thoughts Earrings ($19.95). Seriously, my great-aunt Bea had the same pair. They could not be cuter.
