Can Pregnant Women Wear White to a Wedding?

Are pregnant women excluded from the don't wear white to a wedding rule? I mean someone else's wedding-not your own wedding, obviously. (Pregnant brides in dramatic, sweeping white gowns: I totally vote yes.)

But let's say you're going to a friend's ceremony. There's no way that a mom-to-be wearing white is going to upstage the bride, right? Or is this one of those fashion rules that you just never, ever break?

Here's my current perfect-summer-wedding outfit for pregnant mamas:

This Built by Wendy Fireworks Dress, magically on sale for $70 and very bump-friendly.

These Naturalizer Prissy shoes ($60 from Piperlime), which are low-heeled enough to not kill me.

And my hair done in a little braid, like this.

What do you say? Would you ever wear white while pregnant to someone else's nuptials?

I think pregnant women can wear white to their wedding day. I did. I was 3 months preggo when i got married. Well, no one knew except my husband that I was! but, if my mom knew she would've put me in the dress rock

I doubt I'll be wearing white to my own wedding. But then again, I was never one for tradition. It's like Miranda from Sex and The City once said, "I have a child, the jig is up."

you cant even wear a white top to someone else's wedding?  oops, sorry BIL i wore one to his, with black pants....i didnt have anything else!!  lol  no one said anything about it.  the bride was wearing white and pregnant (only a couple weeks tho)

I would not wear white to someone else's wedding pregnant or not.

I disagree with any woman wearing white to another person's wedding because white symbolizes the bride & if she's not the only one wearing it, what's the point?

I was married in a white dress with red flowers and 5 months pregnant. lol. I don't care.. white isn't a bride only color, in my opinion.

no, you're already pregnant, which means you'll be noticed enough. wearing white would just draw more attention away from the bride. and i was pregnant at my wedding. so if some pregnant chick showed up at my wedding wearing white...i'd be pissed.

Aw, geez. Even if the bride wasn't wearing white I'd never consider wearing white to a wedding EVER!

Especially being pregnant. Come on. Of course you're going to attract attention that way. DUR!

Nope. You NEVER wear white (or any shade even close) to someone else's wedding.
