Are pregnant women excluded from the don't wear white to a wedding rule? I mean someone else's wedding-not your own wedding, obviously. (Pregnant brides in dramatic, sweeping white gowns: I totally vote yes.)
But let's say you're going to a friend's ceremony. There's no way that a mom-to-be wearing white is going to upstage the bride, right? Or is this one of those fashion rules that you just never, ever break?

Nope, no white. It wouldn't matter if you were the elderly grandmother in the wheelchair. I think it is tacky to wear white to someone else's wedding.
I don't really see an issue with wearing white to a wedding as long as it's not a gown or anything but personally as a pregnant woman (I'm 39 wks pregnant) I would feel like an egg.

I think that's just one of those fashion rules you can't break. It's the bride's day and she usually likes to be the only one wearing white...I know it sucks, but it's just one day!
Never white! It doesnt matter who or what condition you are! It's just direspectful.

I agree with everyone, I would not do it myself. Do you feel close enough to the bride to ask her feelings on the matter? Maybe she would not mind but again, personally, I would pick another color.
P.S. -- Love the braid and the shoes though!
No white! That's very rude! I usually go with browns and creams. A nice cream tank with pants or capris is still bright and elegant, but the pants make it obvious you're not trying to upstage anyone. If it's a very elegant wedding you can even wear a black dress, but no white. I don't really like red either. Too flashy!
I dunno. It depends on the bride really, and how she feels. I didn't care who wore what to my wedding because I sure as hell didn't wear white (either time! lol). I say ask her and go from there.
