While checking out one of my new favorite blogs, I Heart You, I saw this You Tube video posted with the headline Pregnant Women Are Smug.
This is from the musical and skit comedy act Garfunkel and Oates with Riki "Garfunkel" Lindhome and Kate "Oates" Micucci.
It's a catchy little number....pregnant women are smug, everyone knows it, nobody says it, because they are pregnant...and even though I am pregnant, I giggled.
Especially at the part where they say pregnant women talk in cliches. Like when someone asks if you want a boy or a girl and you respond I don't care as long as it's healthy. Guilty. Said it just last night.
Then they talk about the women who won't tell others if it's a boy or a girl and won't share the name.
It's all things pregnant women do and no one should judge them for it, but still, having a sense of humor about it is good, too. The baby probably likes a good belly laugh.
What do you think of the Pregnant Women Are Smug video? And are we smug?
