It's a Baby Invasion!

When it rains it pours, even in pregnancy. Seems that when you hear that one person is pregnant, it's only a matter of time before you get the news that at least a handful of others you know are expecting as well.

Right now, I know of at least 7 new babies (including two sets of twins) that will be entering my friend, co-worker, and family circle -- from any moment now until Christmas.

Who knows the reason? It might have something to do with all of us being in the same baby-making age bracket, or keeping up with the Joneses, or just good ole coincidence. Whatever it is, it's a good thing I don't mind going to baby showers.

there are like 7 of us in my church that are pregnant and do around the same time. i think there is something in the water over there...

I know a lot of women who are pregnant here on CM.

Fortunately not many of my close friends are pregnant now. When I was pregnant with my first daughter everyone else got pregnant at the end of my first trimester. So I of course got "It's your fault." and had to hear about their complaints. I may be a bad friend but I really didn't care. I don't want to hear about your bad first trimester when I'm walking with epic inept-ness. Sorry, lol.

I do have a friend who's due about a week or so before me. She's also having another girl.

There are 3 I can think of right now... there is definately something, when I was pregnant w/ my DD, 2 of my husband's cousins were also. We were all due in January and my MIL, her brother and her sister all became grandparents at the same time!

My church alone we have 4 women currently expecting between now and the end of August and 4 that just had their babies since March. We say it's in the water at the church because when I was pregnant with both my kids there was always someone else pregant a long with me and my kids are now 7 years and 4 years.

It's pheromones ... You can even get on the same cycle as others when you hang around enough! ---- It's scientifically proven to be true!

Some of these same pheromones are also responsible for hyper sensitivity to smells while pregnant!

This is true, although i think i set a trend with my friends as soon as i got pregnant i had 3 others that were prego and now that i has my son i have 5 friends that are now prego...no joke but yeah THAT IS SOOO TRUE! lol and congrats on the twins :D
