There are supposedly all sorts of ways to guess if you're having a boy or a girl -- how you're carrying, what you're craving, what your pregnancy symptoms are. 2forT asked moms in the Pregnancy group to share and compare their symptoms -- judging by the post, the symptoms are all over the map, regardless of which gender a woman is having. The only ways to know for sure will involve your doctor -- he can tell with fairly good certainty (though not 100 percent) through an ultrasound. An amnio, of course, will reveal the news definitively. But tests and accuracy aside, it's still fun to guess! Here are a couple of ways to try.
myjennlee suggested a for-fun quiz based on the old wives' tales that you take to see if it's a boy or a girl. Another way -- and I can tell you that this one worked for me -- is the Chinese birth chart, which looks at a woman's age and month of conception to predict gender. It's supposedly got a 90%+ success rate. Mrs.Simms asked moms-to-be if the Chinese birth chart was accurate for them -- and looking at the responses, it was.
What about you? Are you going to find out the sex? Do you already know if you're having a boy or a girl?
