Tiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe

Play Mat, $65, babiesrus.com

Time for Take It or Leave It Tuesday. Last week, I asked about the ultimate crib sheet, and most moms-to-be said they were skipping it. This week, it's an activity mat for baby. This is the very one that I registered for with my first baby (and it was a hit, with him and with me!)

Item: Tiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe Lights & Music Play Mat

Cost: $65

What it does: It entertains baby -- during tummy time or while lying on his back or sitting up. It helps develop motor skills and offers sensory stimulation through things that play music, light up, jiggle, spin, and rattle.

Pros: It provides a safe place to put a non-yet-totally- mobile baby so that parents can get a hands-free breather.

Cons: It's expensive. And you either have to leave it out all the time or resign yourself to folding and unfolding it countless times a day.

Let's see what you have to say.
