It's been a while since the last bit of celeb pregnancy news that I was excited about (when is Gwyneth going to go for number 3?!), but here's some.

Sarah Michelle Gellar (aka Buffy) is expecting her first baby!

The adorable SMG, 33, has been married to actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. for six years -- they seem to be the rare, young Hollywood couple for whom things are actually working out happily. I've been wondering when she'd get in the baby way....

Sarah will begin work soon on the HBO pilot "The Wonderful Maladays." Meanwhile, the huge vampire craze that her show helped ignite years ago is still taking over the world. Stephenie Meyer, mistress of the Twilight series, was the biggest selling U.S. author of 2008, with a whopping 15 million books sold.

In other Buffy-related baby news, Alyson Hannigan and her hubby, who met on the set of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," recently welcomed their first child -- a daughter named Satyana.
