Congratulations to my winning mom, willowbluecrow! Check back often for more giveaways in Daily Buzz!
I did a post recently on
breast pump FAQs. Do you really need one? Which pump is best? Now's your chance to win one that CafeMom moms said they loved -- the Ameda Purely Yours! It's now the Purely Yours Ultra -- all new and improved.
Here's how to win it.
One mom who replies to this post with a comment by 11:59pm (EST) on Friday, March 13, 2009 will be chosen at random to receive an Ameda Purely Yours Ultra Double Electric Breast Pump.*
Only one mom can win one pump, no matter how many times you comment.
To enter, you'll have to leave a comment answering this question:
What's the main reason you want a breast pump? Do you need one because you'll be going back to work full- or part-time or just to have the flexibility of someone else being able to feed the baby? Tell me your sitch!
Ameda is well-known for their hospital-grade breast pumps, but Purely Yours Ultra is a new pump intended to give moms professional performance in a portable, lightweight design. The pump ($299) offers dual adjustability and a custom fit.
Good luck, moms!

I really need a breast pump! the one i have is broken!
I am always on the go, and i plan on pumping and donating my extra milk.
OMG...this is SOOO me....I have had to go back to work and my pumping is decreasing by the day and I have had to supplement with formula. I am not liking that, nor is my daughters system. I want to go back to only breast milk, but cannot get the supply I need and I cannot afford a breast pump like that. This would be the answer to my prayers!!
I'm back at work full time, and have only an Evenflo manual pump to pump with. And being in a male-dominated industry, I have very little if any time to pump. I wish I had the extra money to spend on a breast pump like that, but since the place that we're renting is in forclosure, we're saving every penny for moving into another place.
I'm going to have twins in June and had trouble nursing all three of my previous children. I would love to be able to pump and give the babies breast milk if I have trouble nursing again.
I will going back to work fulltime and I am a fulltime nurser, no supplements. This is the first time I will be doing this as I was a stay at home mom with my other 3 kids. This would be such a welcome relief to pumping at work.
I will going back to work and will need a new pump the one I have stopped working; this would come in reall handy.
That is a REALLY nice breast pump! Sure beats the massively bulky one I rented from the hospital. I really beleive that breast is best and would rather have a emergency supply in case something happens than leave my baby having to drink formula.
I will be breastfeeding baby #3. I want my DH to be able to feed the LO also...It is such a bonding experience to be able to feed the baby. Especially for the father that doesnt get all the extra bonding time. WOOHOO for giveaways!!!
I will be going back to work full time, and this will be my first time nursing and working full time with a newborn. I have heard nothing but really positive things from all the breastfeeding mothers in the forums here and would love the opportunity to enjoy this pump!
