Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet, $70, amazon.com
OK, moms-to-be -- it's time for Take It or Leave It Tuesday. Last week, moms weighed in on a diaper changing table, and most moms said they'd leave it.
Up this week, the Pack 'n Play. We registered for one with our first baby and, now with two kids, I have to say we've gotten tons of use out of it on many, many vacations, far and near.
Are you planning to put a pack 'n play on your registry? Let's see what you have to say.
Item: Pack 'n Play with Bassinet
Cost: About $70 - $125, depending on model and features
What it does: It's a contained place to stash baby -- for playtime, sleep, whatever
Pros: Use it at home or as a crib-on-the-fly; Graco's the brand lots of moms choose
Cons: It's a fairly pricey piece of baby gear

I barrowed one from family with my first baby but I am now 26 weeks pregnant with my second baby & I loved it so much that I got my family to buy us our own for chritmas, so I will deffinantly take it.
This was a wonderful item to use with our grandson at our house. It was very simple and easy to set up, very small to store in the closet, and easily fit in my daughter's trunk when she needed to use it for travel. It's also a great item to have downstairs in the family room as a changing station and play area. My grandson used this as a playpen at home when he was learning to sit up.
My mom is getting me the Graco Pack-n-Play Kira collection one. I don't know what I would do if I didn't get it. With my last one we didn't have one but we had a bassinet that I dragged all over the house, plus we had an older style playpen that we used when we needed to "contain" him.
I use this instead of a traditional crib. When they get to that climbing stage there is not way to climb out of it. And the bassinet part is a nice height for next to the bed and diaper changing without breaking your back! Love them and couldn't live without mine!! Have to buy a new one for little guy #3
we got one as a shower gift when i was pg with dd and we used it with ds 4yrs later....sadly it died but it had a long and wonderful life!!!....lol....i would highly recommend getting one!!!!
We got one for our first child for various things - containment, sleeping on trips, etc. Once we got a mattress that fit it (at babies-r-us for $20) my daughter slept SO well in that thing on trips that we used it until she could climb out of it. We're expecting #2 here in a couple of days and will absolutely put it to use again for him until he can toss himself out.
I love mine!
I am currently 24 weeks along and my mom bought me an Eddie Bauer Soothe and Play yard. It has a rocking bassinet that also vibrates. It is so pretty.
My parents take care of my son three days a week for a few hours, so we set up our pack 'n play at their house for him to sleep in--works like a charm!
