Is there a better moment in our childhood than watching our favorite Disney movies on repeat? Honestly, we can't think of one. And while we may go crazy if we ever hear Elsa sing "Let It Go" again (haha, just kidding, we will absolutely hear that song again, probably about 40 more times today if today is anything like other days), we can't think of anything we love more than recreating those own special moments from our childhood by snuggling up with our kiddos and watching Disney movies again today. They're a tradition we love, a connection between our childhoods and our kids', and they're also wildly entertaining -- especially some of those recent Pixar Studio movies, which we actually do want to watch over and over, whether with the kids or not. So we have this love of Disney films and the fact that they create a strong connection between our generations (and even our parents' generation).
For those who have a darker side, inspiration from the Disney villains may be just what they're looking for. No, we don't want our kids to grow up to be villains, but hey, the villain always gets the best lines, right? Of course, classic Disney-inspired baby names for girls will always be strong contenders, while for boys we may want less obvious names from forgotten Disney characters. For those looking outside the Disney box, consider baby names inspired by fairy tales, some of which are Disney-adjacent.
Because these stories inspire a connection across generations, it means naming a kid after Disney films is a fantastic idea. Yes, our parents might think that names should only be family names -- but frankly, we think that anyone who makes that choice is making a good one, but for us, we're more likely to go our own way and choose a name that speaks to us. That's why we love these great Disney name options!
