Time for Take It or Leave It Tuesday, where you weigh in on must-have baby registry items. What's on your list?
Last week, it was a way to swaddle baby (most moms said they'd leave it, but this was a close one).
Up now, a piece of nursery furniture.
Item: Diaper changing table
Cost: About $100 - $200+, depending on style
What it does: It's dedicated diaper-changing real estate
Pros: Provides a natural resting place for a diaper changing pad and extra storage space to boot
Cons: It's another piece of furniture to fit into the nursery and a place to change baby could be just as easily created by placing a diaper changing pad on top of a dresser

Leave it. Mine got used maybe once.
i use mine all the time. its a dresser/ changing table. i dont like the open shelf changing tables though.
I had one for my son and rarely used it! I never bought one for either of my daughters. It would have been a waste of money for me.
my son had one on his dresser....NEVER used it. there are picture frames and things on it instead. so with this one we will skip it.
I voted leave it. We have a diaper pad on top of a dresser and that works just fine. It was maybe $20 for the pad. So $20 vs $100+...yea...changing pad wins.
I have one and it's been used for 10 months...I couldn't live without it. I don't know what I'm going to do with it once my daughter's out of diapers but I'm sure I'll figure out something, lol.
I voted leave it only because I dont think its necessary. I have one and I use mines often for alot of things like sitting her on it to change her clothes, storage for diapers and other baby supples, but I dont think its really necessary,
I change my daughter wherever we are in the house..
I used mine all the time due to the residual pain from my epidural.
I think it's funny the things we think we will so desparately need before we actually have a baby and then realize after birth or adoption, that those things just are NOT necessary.
I've had mine for 3 years nd still use it every day. It lasted two children and has made it easy for the kids to know where we do diapers... It especially helps that my 21 mo old can't talk so when he needs a change he points to the changing table...
