A name pairing perfect for quirkier parents, Hazel literally means "hazel trees," while Hugo is derived from French and means "heart, mind, and spirit." Neither name is super popular -- Hazel was the 23rd most popular baby name all the way back in the 1890s -- but both are one the rise. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt named their daughter Hazel in 2014, and Ginnifer Goodwin welcomed her son, Hugo, in 2016.

If you're looking for a little Hollywood inspiration, Eva Mendes, Eva Gabor, and Eva Longoria have all fared well with the name. Meanwhile, actor Ethan Hawke gives this first name some intellectual, heartthrob vibes.

Both names mean "a follower of Christ," and both names have always been in favor here in the US. Christina peaked in the '70s at #16, while Christian had its moment in the '90s at #32. A little bit matchy-matchy, but still extremely cute. We think this pair is a winner!

Taylor and Tyler

A cutesy-pairing that roles off the tongue, we think Taylor and Tyler sound perfect together. Taylor (coming from the French "to cut") and Tyler (meaning "one who lays tiles") kind of go well together in their meaning too, huh? In the 1990s both Taylor and Tyler rose to #9 in popularity for their respective genders. Perfect!

These two names have special meanings. Sophia means "wisdom" or "skill" in Greek, and Samuel means "his name is God" in Hebrew. Sophia ranked as THE most popular name in 2011, possibly due to the influence of famous Sophias like Sophia Bush, Loren, and Vergara (though she spells it Sofia).

Penelope and Pax

Two very famous baby names for your little superstars! Penelope only rose in popularity within the last six years -- and a certain reality star just might be the reason. Kourtney Kardashian named her daughter Penelope in 2012. Pax, meaning "peace," is also a celeb choice: It's the name of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's second son. Though it has yet to trend, we think this baby name is due for its big break!

Avery, which has been trending in the US ever since it hit #13 on the most popular baby names in 2012, is both cool and classic. Aiden, who will always be the name of the perfectly great boyfriend that Carrie Bradshaw tossed aside (it's fine, I'm over it), also peaked at #9 in 2009.

Grace and Gavin

Grace, meaning "eloquence, beauty, kindness, and mercy," and Gavin, meaning "a hawk" or "a battle," are a natural yin-and-yang. Just think of Grace Kelly and musician Grace Jones or rockers Gavin DeGraw and Gavin Rossdale. This is a case of opposites attracting, we think!
