I seem to have a lot of pregnant friends this holiday season, and in looking over the cards we received, I noticed how many of the babies-on-the-way made an appearance in them. I saw lots of ultrasound pictures and one couple we know (not due for 3 more months) referred to their baby in the card by the full name (first and middle) they plan to give her.
It was great getting sneak sonogram peeks and hearing name details, but it reminded me how I was a little superstitious when pregnant and reluctant to share too many details.
What about you? Did you share sonogram pics in your holiday card? And if you've decided on a baby name, are you referring to the baby by his/her name?

GREAT PICTURE! THANKS FOR USING IT!
I think that sharing ultrasound pictures is stupid. It's a personal picture of your baby. Most of the time you can't even tell what it is. I never even show anyone my u/s pictures unless they actually ask to see them. It's just weird to me.
As far as putting the name of the baby in the card - If you have the name and want to include it, why not?
I put Baby 2009 in our cards, as we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet and we have no names picked out. Also, a lot extended family doesn't know that I am pregnant yet, so it was a good way to announce it.
I think if I'd had an ultrasound picture I may have included it in a few of the cards, people who I know would like it, as it is I don't get one for another month. But I did put on the card from us and Baby #2.
when i filled out my christmas cards i put Love Jimmy Kayla Savannah and Baby Number 2 because i havent told anyone that i havent seen recently about the baby so i thought this was a good way to tall them. we havent found out what we are having yet so we didnt want to list both names we have picked for a boy and a girl so we just put baby number 2.
No I didn't add my "baby to be's" name in the card.. because he is not ( technically) here yet. I have had two previous losses and am superstitous.. again with the name thing we know what his name is going to be but refer to him as "baby G" to others.
the only person who i sent a sonogram picture to was my dad because he lives in hawaii and couldnt see it when i showed it to everyone else in my family.
