  • Luke

    1

There can't be a Star Wars baby name list without Luke! Sure, it's a popular male name as is, but Luke Skywalker was the man. According to the Social Security Administration, Luke was the twenty-eighth most popular baby name in 2004.

  • Leia

    2

Unlike her long-lost brother Luke, "Leia" wasn't one of the top 1,000 popular baby names until 1978 and 1980. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) premiered around those times. Leia was most popular in 2014.

  • Anakin

    3

Before he became Darth Vader, young Anakin Skywalker was a promising Jedi Knight. Should you happen to like the name Anakin, you should know it was most popular in 2014 (218 boys had the name).

  • Finn

    5

Hellloo, Finn. Once a First Order Stormtrooper, Finn is a major player in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, who happens to have a cute baby name. Since 2000, Finn has only become more popular, with parents mostly bestowing the name in 2014.

  • Ben

    6

Why, didn't you know Jedi Master Obi-Wan's name is Ben Kenobi? Training both Anakin and Luke Skywalker, "Ben" was most popular during the early 1900s, but continues to be a hit among expectant parents. Ben started to pick up steam not too long after Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace debuted in 1999.
