Lovely Miscarriage Empathy Cards Speak for You When You Don't Know What to Say (PHOTOS)

miscarriage cardWhen someone experiences a miscarriage or stillbirth, it's incredibly difficult to know what to say. That's why Los Angeles–based psychologist and writer Jessica Zucker created a series of "Empathy Cards" with sensitive (but not sugarcoated) messages that aim to fill those potentially awkward -- and painful -- silences.

Simple, straightforward, and refreshingly honest, Zucker drew on the experience of her own miscarriage after 16 weeks to make the cards, though she specialized in women's reproductive and maternal mental health long before her loss (and her expertise shows!).

All of the cards seen here are available on her website.
