When thinking of a baby name for a little bundle of joy that is on the way, there are so many things that can inspire a name choice. From fairy tales to celebrities to movies, baby name ideas can come from so many different places. A cute name can even come from food -- or more specifically, dessert! With all of the sweet candies, pastries, and sugary ingredients out there, it is actually not surprising that some of them make pretty adorable names for a baby girl or boy. So for a new mama who has a major sweet tooth, she may just get some name inspiration the next time she has a pregnancy craving. 

From the names of candy bars to international treats to things we keep in the house every day, there are tons of super sweet options for a dessert-inspired name. Some are more common names like Mike and Joy. Others are creative, like Ambrosia, Sundae, and Moloko.
