We can never get enough of baby names. And now that it's nearing the end of the year, we're excited to reveal ... the CafeMom list of top girls' and boys' names of 2014.

Sure, some of last year's classic favorites are back. But we're willing to guess some of the names in this year's Top 50 lists will come as a total shock.

For girls ... the battle of Sophia and Emma continues for the third year straight. This year's most popular name on CafeMom for girls? Sophia. (The alternate spelling, "Sofia," came in at #12.) Emma, last year's winner, was runner-up.

The rest of the top 10 girls' names were a solid offering of traditional names, most of which you saw the year before. Returning champs include Olivia, Isabella, Madison, plus newcomers Zoey, Mia, and Serenity, which only made it to #23 last year.

Rounding out the list of 50 names, we saw a shout-out to Southern culture (Savannah, Scarlett, and Peyton), a trend in playful names that both begin and end with a vowel (Audrey, Aubrey, Emery, and Avery), and one we just flat-out didn't see coming: the unique Nevaeh.

This year top boys' names? Liam, which only made it to #2 last year. The 2013 trend of biblical boys' names continues with the Top 50 including such faves as Matthew, Gabriel, Christian, Daniel, and Jacob. (Noah, last year's winner, still came in solid at second place.)

Jack was still popular this year -- so much so that it appears four different times on the list: Jack, Jaxon, Jaxson, and Jackson. And plenty of rugged, woodsy names represented in 2014, too. Think Wyatt, Landon, Mason, Hunter, and Aiden.

What other names made the lists? Read on and see.
