Kate Middleton Officially Pregnant With Second Child!

It's official. Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child! The Palace announced the news on Monday, saying, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news." Sadly, though, as with her first pregnancy with Prince George, the Duchess is suffering from extreme morning sickness again and is currently being treated by doctors. Poor woman. But yay!!! Another royal baby!!!

The speculation started floating around when it was reported that Kate wouldn't be accompanying William to a planned royal engagement to Oxford University’s new center dedicated to the study of China on Monday. After some time, though, Clarence House confirmed that it was due to the fact that the Duchess isn't feeling well and will be staying home at Kensington Palace to be looked after by doctors. There are no reports yet on how far along Kate is (probably not very far, though, if she's still in the awful throes of acute morning sickness), or whether or not she'll continue with her planned solo trip to Malta later on this month.

Crazily enough, betting has already started on what the sex of the baby will be and what the royal couple will name their royal bundle. So far, odds are Henry if it's a boy and Elizabeth if it's a girl. I won't lie: Kind of hoping for an Elizabeth this time around. How cute would it be to see a little princess playing alongside Prince George?

Congratulations to the royal couple!

Do you think William and Kate will have a boy or girl?
