Seems like ever since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot in September 2012, we've heard off and on that they're expecting a baby -- though nothing has yet come to fruition! Well, the rumor mill is at it again, and this time, OK! reports a source claims the actress wants to start trying soon, explaining, "Her baby hormones are going crazy. Blake grew up in a big family, so she wants more than one!"
And as if that wasn't enough evidence, the couple is rumored to have a few names picked out ...
Apparently, since the couple got married in South Carolina, they would want to honor their wedding location by naming a girl Carolina or a boy Charleston. Aww! So sweet.
'Course there are sure to be some raised eyebrows about the fact that Blake supposedly has names picked out before getting pregnant. Could that be considered ill-advised or putting the cart way before the horse?
Not necessarily. Much like many of us think about the details of our dream wedding or ultimate house, you may find yourself planning ahead for a baby. Not only are you thinking what your baby's personality may be like, but you're contemplating what name would suit them best, given what their last name will be. Or a loved one may pass away, and you're sure that you'd want to honor them by using their first initial or full name. Or you're sure that you want to pay tribute to your wedding location or birthplace, maiden name, favorite movie star, etc. It's one of those things that's perfectly fine to muse about or even decide before you start trying.
In the end, you may not even end up going with the name you thought you had your heart set on, but there's no harm in batting around some ideas before seeing that pink plus. And as for Blake and Ryan's future pink plus, we'll just have to stay tuned to hear the official word that a baby is on the way for the happy couple.
How do you feel about picking out a name before you're even pregnant?
