Umm... did you mean Ophrah? It would sound like OFF-rah, not Oprah. The name Oprah came about because someone misspelled the name Orpah from the Book of Ruth.

Both my girls' names are from the bible. I picked good examples of women then printed a verse with their names in it and put it up on the wall.

My sons name is Micaiah and it is biblical it took us awhile to pick his name but I am so happy that we picked it. Also we pronounce it My-kay-uh. His fathers name,e is Michael Jr and we anted to pass it on without having another Jr in the family and Micaiah fit perfect
