Kelly Clarkson is such an adorable pregnant lady! She's got that pregnant glow. Her hair looks gorgeous and full. You see the smile on her face and just know that she's thrilled to be pregnant with her first baby with hubby Brandon Blackstock. And she really is -- she's so happy she's pregnant, but she admitted on Ellen that she wishes the baby would stop trying to kill her.
Oh Kelly. I know what you're feeling. Those pregnancy side-effects that no one really likes to talk about ... they sure are a challenge to get through. And the women who went through them try to tell you it's no big deal and it will pass, but when you are in the moment going through them, you know exactly what Kelly means. Kelly quite literally spilled all the details on the wacky stuff going on with her since becoming pregnant. She's miserable.
Kelly said on Ellen:
I vomit a good dozen times a day its like bad. I vomited before coming out here. I'm not even kidding, it's so bad. It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. And that's the thing too, you're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That is total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out -- it's not all lush and beautiful -- and I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible.
Oh Kels! I know! I know! I had morning, noon, and night sickness when I was pregnant. I once had to puke right on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant after I ate. I tried to make it so no one would see, but sadly I didn't. At least Kelly didn't vomit ON Ellen.
Try Sea Bands. They sort of worked for me. They might not work though. Stick to the foods you can keep down. I did. Those foods were burritos and pasta with butter and Parmesan cheese. (Hope the thought of that doesn't make any of you throw up. Not together though -- two separate dishes.) I threw those up a few times, too, though. Kelly, you'll get through this, you will, you will. And once you do, and your nose starts looking as pregnant as your belly (because that sometimes happen), you'll kind of wistfully look back on the times you were vomiting. But then, soon enough, baby will be born and any of those bad feelings will be quickly replaced with LOVE.
Did you have any of these 'ugly' pregnancy moments, too?
