Kailyn Lowry Finally Comes Clean About Her Pregnancy

GossipMonger 16

Kailyn LowryDespite months and months of dancing around the topic, Kailyn Lowry has finally confirmed she is pregnant! While this isn't exactly a huge shock due to her ever-growing baby bump, it's still exciting that the Teen Mom has officially come clean about the wonderful news.

Her biggest reason for keeping the pregnancy a secret for so long? Privacy. She tweeted:

No matter what people will always say we don't deserve privacy or assume we just don't want it. Definitely unfair.

Amen, sister. You're totally entitled to your privacy ... but since the cat's out of the bag now, how about letting us all in on the baby's gender?

Tell us, Kailyn! Boy or girl? BOY OR GIRL???

Well, unfortunately, we'll have to wait to hear about that as well. Apparently Kailyn's a fan of not knowing the baby's gender until the actual birth. That's what happened with her first baby, Isaac ... and the same goes for baby #2.

So even though Kailyn wore pink to her baby shower, that doesn't mean a little girl is on the way. Maybe it just means Kailyn wanted to wear pink that day. Hey, pink's a good color, I dig it.

And I definitely think a congratulations is in order for Kailyn and her lovely husband, Javi Marroquin! We can't wait to see your little bundle of joy. I'm sure he OR she will be absolutely perfect.

Are you excited about the news? What do you think Kailyn is having -- a boy or a girl?

Hasn't everyone known for awhile now that she is pregnant?

Eileen Borkowski

I've known this for months. It's been no secret.

SEX not gender. Gender is how they identify themselves. Do they feel they are a boy or a girl. Sex is what (if anything) is between their legs. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

becoming a celebrity automatically comes with the fact that you lose privacy. that is a given. it is a huge UNFORTUNATE given but it is fact. so to say that you want it...well then you would have never put yourself in front of a camera. I am not saying that by being on camera it proves you don't want privacy but at the same time..if you really wanted it that bad then you just wouldn't do certain things..simple as that.

I am so sick of hearing sex is not gender! Bullshit! There is male and female, boy or girl, and it coincides with a penis for a boy or a vagina for a girl! It has been that way forever up until here recently! This is part of what is wrong with kids today, their crazy ass parents! A child looks to their parent for guidance, and if their parent is telling them they can choose their gender, that is automatically confusing. Because like it or not, your either a boy or a girl, this is not based on "feelings" it is scientific fact! Now if your child as a teen or some kids earlier is obviously having issues with identifying with being a boy or girl on their own, it is your job as their parent to love and accept them and help them, but get off this bullshit of it being a choice, because it isn't!

Kathy Burgess this is from World Health Organization: Sometimes it is hard to understand exactly what is meant by the term "gender", and how it differs from the closely related term "sex".

"Sex" refers to the biological and physiological characteristics that define men and women.

"Gender" refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviours, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.

To put it another way:

"Male" and "female" are sex categories, while "masculine" and "feminine" are gender categories.

It doesn't necessarily mean gay or straight, but their are "gender roles" certain socities think males should follow and females should follow. Back in the 50's and 60's women didn't work, men didn't clean or cook, or take care of children. That is gender roles it's based on whether you are male or female. Sex is the body parts themselves. So get off your high horse. Men can decide to play a female's gender role (well a sterotypical female gender role) and vice versa.

Well!!!! It's about damn time she confirmed she was pregnant even though everyone knew already and I think that's bull shit how she said she kept it a secret this long because she wanted "privacy" she kept it a secret this long due to her MTV contracts and I'm sure MTV paid her paid her a nice chunk of money to confirm it
