Thanks to Ashlee Simpson's new progeny, Bronx Mowgli, we've been buzzing about celebrity baby names quite a bit around here recently. Two other (more popular) "B" names were just on my mind, though, because I realized two famous moms had kids sharing them -- both designer Stella McCartney and singer Melissa Etheridge have a Bailey and a Beckett.

Is Beckett neutral? I automatically think boy. But then, my son is Kylen, and it turns out that's neutral, too. *sigh*
I thought boy when I heard Beckett also. I have a daughter named Bailey. I never would have thought that Bailey could be gender neutral until Party of Five was on tv in the 90's with a male character named Bailey.
When I was younger I wanted to name my children Ryan, Brett and Drew no matter what sex they were.
